The Transplanting Traditions Community Farm envisions a world in which all people have access to healthy affordable food, land, education, satisfying work and a space to celebrate culture and to build strong resilient communities.
The Mission of Transplanting Traditions Community Farm is to provide refugee adults and youth access to land, healthy food and agricultural and entrepreneurial opportunities. The farm provides a cultural community space for families to come together, build healthy communities and continue agricultural traditions in the Piedmont of N.C.

The Transplanting Traditions Community Farm is a project of the Orange County Partnership for Young Children. For more information about the projectand who we serve . We operate a CSA and have refugee farmers selling at the Chapel Hill Farmers’ Market and the Carrboro Farmers’ Market. We have information and recipes for the South-East Asian vegetables we grow. We also provide refugee youth programming which includes a comprehensive teen program that focuses on leadership development and communication skills. Our young children’s programming focuses on farm and nature exploration, nutrition and cooking and physical activity. Learn more and get involved through volunteering or a tour.
